What we collect
When you place an order, we collect the information you give us directly: your name, email address, shipping address, and payment details. Payment information is processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number on our servers.
We also collect basic usage data automatically — pages visited, browser type, device type, and the general geographic region you're browsing from. This helps us understand how the site performs and where to improve it.
How we use it
Your information is used to:
- Process and fulfill your order
- Send order confirmations and shipping updates
- Respond to questions or support requests you send us
- Improve the website and fix technical issues
- Send occasional updates about new work or collections — only if you opt in
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Third parties
We work with a small set of trusted services to run the store:
- Stripe— secure payment processing. Your card data goes directly to Stripe's servers under their PCI-DSS compliant environment.
- Shipping carriers — your name and shipping address are shared with the carrier fulfilling your order (e.g. FedEx, UPS, or USPS) to the extent required for delivery.
- Cloudinary — image hosting for artwork displayed on the site. No personal data is passed to Cloudinary.
Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy policies and data-processing agreements. We choose partners who take data security seriously.

- Tell you what personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your data

Processing times
Every piece is handled personally. Processing time depends on what you ordered:

Processing time is separate from transit time. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your package is handed to the carrier.
Shipping & rates
We currently ship to the United States. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order, as well as your delivery address.
Both standard and express shipping options are available at checkout. Select whichever suits your timeline — express rates apply carrier surcharges and will be shown with a live quote before you pay.
International orders:We don't ship internationally at this time. If you're outside the US and interested in a piece, email us at nadakh@yahoo.comand we'll see what we can work out.
Delivery estimates
Once your package is with the carrier, estimated transit times are:

These are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Delays caused by weather, carrier volume, or customs clearance are outside our control.
Originals vs. prints
Original artworks are one-of-a-kind pieces painted by Nada. They are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, sandwiched between rigid foam boards, and packed in a double-walled box before shipping. Fragile and high-value shipments are sent with declared value and signature confirmation.
Fine-art prints are produced on archival paper and shipped rolled in a sturdy tube, or flat in a rigid mailer depending on size. Each print is inspected for color accuracy and print quality before it leaves.
Commission portraits
Commission portraits are painted to order — Nada begins work only after your deposit is confirmed and the reference photos are approved together.
Typical timelines from deposit to shipment:
- Small portrait (up to 8×10 in): 2–4 weeks
- Medium portrait (up to 16×20 in): 3–5 weeks
- Large or complex compositions: 5–8 weeks
You'll receive progress photos at key stages so there are no surprises. Rush timelines may be possible — ask before ordering.
Note on commissions: because the piece is created specifically for you, commission portraits are non-refundable once work has begun. If you need to cancel before the painting starts, contact us immediately and we'll discuss options.
Damages & loss
We photograph every piece before it leaves and pack with care. If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and the packaging within 48 hours of delivery and email the photos to nadakh@yahoo.com. We'll file a carrier claim and work with you on a resolution, which may include a replacement print or store credit.
If tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven't received it, give it 2 business days (carrier scans sometimes lead delivery) and check with neighbors or your building's mail room. If it still hasn't turned up, contact us and we'll investigate with the carrier.
All sales final
Because each piece is a work of original art — printed or painted specifically for its buyer — all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.
